The Process Safety Incident Evaluation (PSIE) app allows users to assess a chemical incident against safety indicators.

The PSIE app consists of three main components: the Process Safety Incident (PSI) Evaluation Questionnaire, the Severity Weighting Questionnaire, and the Chemical and Mixtures Database.

The PSIE app Questionnaire guides the user through a step-by-step evaluation of an event to determine if it meets Tier 1 or Tier 2 PSE Criteria.

The Severity Weighting Questionnaire assists in determining the severity rating of a confirmed Tier 1 event through a separate questionnaire. Additionally, the app allows users to save, email, or print the final report after completing one or both questionnaires.

The chemical and mixtures database offers a standard list of chemicals and mixtures. Users also have the ability to add, remove, or edit custom chemicals or mixtures in the database by providing at least a minimum number of fields.
